CREEK
Join the channels and the water runs.
Every day the page opens on a new stretch of Shoal Creek, from the springs near 38th Street on Mondays to the mouth at Lady Bird Lake on Sundays, the same for everyone. It changes at midnight, Austin time. Tap a stone to turn it a quarter, and turn the stones until the water runs through. Pink stones are fixed and do not turn.
Share and streak
When the water runs, the page offers a short note to copy or share: the stretch, your turns against par, and a row of circles that gives nothing away. Your streak counts the days in a row. It is kept on your device, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Practice
Practice, under the sheet, has a slider from a 4 by 4 creek to a 9 by 9 one, with more fixed stones as it climbs. It never touches your streak. Every creek is checked by a search, and the note under the sheet says it has exactly one answer.

Turning tiles to join a network is an old and well-loved loop: Pipe Mania, NetWalk, Simon Tatham's Net, Infinity Loop, Loops of Zen. Nothing you do is sent anywhere, and there are no accounts, ads or tracking.
