Floating Ink is a marbling toy for iPhone and Apple Watch. It does not collect, store on any server, share, or sell any personal information.

What the app uses on your device

  • Your prints. The prints you keep are saved inside the app on your device only.
  • Photos (only if you ask). When you tap Save on a print, Floating Ink asks for permission to add a picture to your photo library. It can only add; it can never see your photos.
  • Sharing (only if you ask). Tapping Share opens the system share sheet with that one print. Nothing is shared unless you choose to.
  • Motion. Tilting your iPhone moves the water. Motion is read on your device while the app is open and is never stored or sent.

What the app does not do

  • No accounts or sign-in
  • No advertising and no third-party SDKs
  • No analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services
  • No location, microphone or camera access

Children. Floating Ink is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
