Suminagashi, the old Japanese art of floating ink.
Drop ink on water, draw it into rings, lift a print.
Drop ink on water and lift a print. Floating Ink is free on TestFlight. Join the beta (version 1.1 (7); this invitation is good through January 15, 2027).
This build, tell us about: Lift a few prints, then open Your prints: a shelf of washi-paper prints with albums. Make an album, and hold its tab to rename or delete it. Does anything feel fiddly? · Add the “A print” widget to your Home Screen. It shows one of your prints on lacquer. Does it look like the print you made? · On iPad, try Apple Pencil: pressure sets the size of a drop and how hard the comb and fan push, and tilt leans the comb’s teeth. Too light, too heavy, or just right? · On Apple Watch, tap the tool button under the dish a few times. Does each tap move to the next tool: Touch, Bamboo comb, Fan, then Touch again?
You can play on iPhone or Apple Watch, and on Apple Watch without an iPhone. On iPhone Duo, your newest print rests on one leaf beside the water on the other.
